What is the VCEF?

The Vigo County Education Foundation (VCEF) is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) volunteer-based organization committed to excellent public education for the children of Vigo County.  The VCEF generates new sources of revenue to fund teacher-initiated educational projects that could not be funded by local, state or federal money.

Did You Know?

Did you know the percentage of students receiving free or reduced lunch runs as high as 80-90 percent in some schools? When compared to Indiana averages, the county’s socioeconomic factors place a greater financial burden on the public schools.

Through contributions from individuals and businesses, the VCEF is able to provide support for project materials and resources that supplement instruction and reduce the burden in which they are faced.

Did you know that there are several ways to donate to the VCEF? From sponsoring a specific grant to purchasing a “Committed to Education” license plate or simply making a donation, we have an option to meet your needs.
