Jerod Hoke Lawrence Scholarship
The Vigo County Education Foundation is proud to offer the Jerod Hoke Lawrence Memorial Award. Jerod was entering his freshman year at Terre Haute North Vigo High School when he passed away on August 5, 1997 following an ATV accident. As Jerod inspired those around him with his life, family and friends wished to honor him by establishing an annual memorial award. The Jerod Hoke Lawrence Memorial Award remembers and cherishes Jerod with his infectious smile, outgoing personality and devotion to family and friends.
It was determined that a child of a Vigo County School Corporation employee with outstanding character and a GPA of 2.5 or above would be eligible to receive this award. In addition, the eligible student would be a participant in extracurricular activities and be an applicant to a post-secondary education program.
